  • Have you allocated the time necessary to screen your applications?
  • Have you organised a suitably discrete location from which to call your applicants for screening?
  • Have you planned interviewing times? Are other relevant people available?
  • Where will you conduct the interviews?
  • Do you have the most up to date information on your organisation, its people, and the role itself?
  • Know your stuff

Remember, you are being interviewed as well. Your candidate is making a life decision based on the impression you give.
