Rise of job creation ticks up!
The pace at which service companies in Ireland increased their staffing levels remained elevated in July, picking up marginally from the previous month. Employment has now increased in each of the past 35 months.
Panellists mainly attributed higher staffing levels to increased work volumes, while there were also reports that companies were looking to expand their operations in line with an improved demand environment. More than 28% of respondents signalled a rise in employment during the month, compared with just 3% that lowered staffing levels. Information is sourced from Investec.
