Lakeland Dairies - Commercial Manager 

Requirement:

Lakeland Dairies are going through significant expansion which meant they needed to appoint new talent to their management team to support their succession plans.

Project:

Clark met with the management team and, through consultation and listening, gained a thorough understanding of what the organisation needed in terms of skill and cultural fit.

Clark developed a Project plan which enabled the management team to plan ahead and understand the timeframes where their input was needed.

We also developed a sourcing plan to attract the right candidates and managed the entire process from advertising, sourcing – including headhunting – screening, interviewing and selecting the preferred candidate.

Clark worked with Lakeland to develop a thorough process including: behavioural and competency interviews, assessments and talent measurement. We facilitated the negotiation of a contract and ensured all parties were committed and engaged throughout the process.

The outcome was an excellent appointment – on time.

PEI

Requirement:

The task involved Project Management of specific clinical staff for two new, specialist dialysis clinics being established by our client PEI. PEI partnered with Clark to manage the recruitment and selection of a panel of 25 clinical specialists including clinic managers to staff these facilities.

Project included:

  • Planning the process and developing a project plan to ensure we adhered to specific timeframes.
  • Managing all advertising, both on-line and print media.
  • Handling all recruitment, screening and administration
  • Running an assessment centre which included technical, psychometric and interview evaluation
  • Developing a shortlist of candidates for final interview, and co-ordinating all interviews including: venues and interview packs, reference checking and medical assessments.
  • Providing feedback to all candidates and ensuring all documentation and records were complete

Outcome:

Clark successfully built a team of qualified, able, enthusiastic and motivated clinical staff – on time and on specification. PEI were very happy with the outcome which gave them a calibre of personnel that would ensure that the two new facilities would gain sufficient impetus from their launch, to guarantee successful, ongoing operations.

Mondello - Financial Controller

Requirement:

Mondello is a highly regarded and dynamic entertainment facility in Kildare, with a unique offering in the Motor sport arena. The impending retirement of their Financial Controller created a new opportunity for an experienced FC to join the senior team.

Project:

Clark met with the Irish and UK Management team to understand the requirements of the role – not only immediate requirements but also for the future. We then created a project plan, working to timelines which supported an appropriate handover period from the outgoing Financial Controller. The Mondello Management team then took a back seat while Clark attracted, sourced and shortlisted suitable candidates for the role.

We then supported the Management team by providing professional personnel for the interview panel and establishing key measurement criteria. We managed the complete recruitment and selection process, whilst ensuring that the caliber of candidates presented for the role exceeded Mondello’s expectations.

At all times, Clark managed our client’s reputation in a professional and sensitive manner, ensuring communication with applicants, candidates and stakeholders was professional and timely at all times.
